We're introduced to Jules, a forty year old that gave up her twenties to marry a moron and raise their son while he went on tour sleeping with anything that was willing.  Now, five months divorced, Jules is a real estate agent whose younger friend and co-worker, Laurie, is insisting she hit the town and have a little fun.  After showing a house together and having way too many real estate agent posters printed with her cleavage showing, Laurie convinces Jules and she agrees to go to a club.

Jules' next door neighbor and best friend, Ellie, gets very jealous that's she's now losing her best friend to Laurie since the divorce.  Ellie is married to Andy, a lovable, overweight husband and has a son with him, Stan.  When Ellie calls Jules to come over for some scrabble and wine, without the scrabble, Jules says no, that she has to do something with Laurie... for work.

Laurie and Jules arrive at the club and Jules ends up hitting it off with a young hottie who she gets drunk with but quickly heads home without.  She gets back home, puts on some sweats, and is eager to head over to Ellie's for some wine when Laurie swings by and drops off the boy, "You forgot this at the club!"  Althought reluctant, Jules eventually sleeps with the young cub... three times.  She even, despite telling her husband she hates it, attempts to go down on the guy when her ex-husband and son, Travis, enter.  Awkward.

Meanwhile, Jules' awkward son, Travis, is getting tormented at school for all the posters of his mother's cleavage showing around town.  Oh and if life couldn't get worse for the kid, his father, Bobby, gets a job cutting the lawns at school.   Travis eventually goes crazy and attacks some kids.  In an effort to make up for the embarassment she's already put her kid through, Jules and Laurie end up chasing down the kid responsible for stealing most of the posters and scare him to death and tell him to pass on the word.  Good bonding moment between mom and son.

We're also introduced to Grayson, Jules' hot neighbor who is busy banging young coeds betwene his flirting with Jules.  They're so gonna get it on one episode.
