Trent bring the interns a case in which a woman is suing her employer, alleging that she is being paid less than her male counterparts. Cristela is on the side of the victim, but she is surprised to learn that the firm is representing the employer, a big time bank.

At home, Cristela and the family discuss gender roles and Felix takes the stance that men should make more than women. He and Cristela go back in forth over the issue, while Daniela stays noticeably quiet. 

When Cristela brings this up to Daniela, it is revealed that she makes more than Felix and keeps it a secret from him. After Felix continues to disrespect Cristela, she blurts out that Daniela makes more money than him. 

Felix is not only upset that she lied, but also just plain upset that he isn't the breadwinner. After getting neddled by his family, Cristela lies to him and tells him that Daniela only makes $50 more a week than him. 

Meanwhile, the case is settled out of court and Trent informs Cristela that money won out in the end. And the bank did not want to be the people to not support equal pay in court.
