Jeff Settson is a fallen-from-grace reporter whose brother is obsessed with a television show, Cult. After telling Jeff that he believes someone is after him, Nate goes missing. Jeff begins looking into his brother's disappearance and meets Skye, a researcher for the television show. When crimes from the show begin happening in the real world, Jeff wonders if his brother was crazy after all. Jeff and Skye find that some of Cult's fans, Nate included, are beyond dedicated. Jeff allows himself to be tracked in hopes of finding his brother.

Saw the pilot online and thought it was excellent. It will be interesting to see how it develops over the coming episodes. I could see it running out of steam fairly quick. I hope not. Matt Davis and Alona Tal are playing different versions of the same character.
