For the Semifinals of Dancing with the Stars, couples prepared two separate dances to two versions of the same song. Each couple struggled through pain and emotion to produce their dances, offering some memorable moments.

Sadie and Mark began the night with a fun quickstep that offered a few modern twists. Len said he was disappointed because he couldn't find a thing that he didn't like about they dance. This routine earned a score of 37.

Tommy and Peta's first dance was a crowd-pleasing Jazz routine that earned praise from the judges as well as a solid score of 28.

And despite a bit of a rough week, Bethany and Derek's Samba was well-done with a score of 36.

But the highest scoring dance of the first round was Janel and Val's Paso Doble, which earned a perfect score of 40.

Alfonso Ribeiro fought through a lot of pain to be able to dance an Argentine Tango that earned all 9's from the judges.

In the second round, the couples danced to acoustic versions of the same songs with completely different styles of dance.

Sadie and Mark earned a score of 37 for their Argentine Tango, and Tommy and Peta impressed the judges with a Rumba that Julianne called "magical."

Bethany and Derek danced a Contemporary routine that Bruno called a "modern masterpiece" and that received a perfect score of 40.

Janel and Val earned a lower score for their second dance, which was an Argentine Tango. Still, they earned 10's from two judges.

And Alfonso continued to power through his pain with a Contemporary routine to finish off the night. Despite his struggles, the routine earned a score of 39.

Ane in the final moments of the competition, another couple was eliminated, just one week shy of the finals. Who do you think it was?
