Recap

Each of the remaining 10 celebrities scored a 21 or higher this week. Impressive. Let's run down the performances...

Natalie Coughlin & Alec Mazo: Average paso doble. Te Olympic swimmer didn't see as fluid as usual, a fact on which all the judges agreed.
Score: 22

Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff: Lifts were allowed for this type of Tango, and the couple took full advantage of that. This was a definite improvement over last week. "It was a little like watching Robert Pattinson tangoing in Twilight!" Bruno Tonioli said... whatever that means.
Score: 24

Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova: Irvin should have been voted off last week. He did more moves this time around, though that isn't saying much. Still, the judges liked it, as Bruno encouraged Irvin to "keep that nickel in your butt, because it's working for you!" Right.
Score: 21

Mya & Dmitry Chaplin: Here's our favorite. What did you think of this Tango, judges? "I never really know what I like until I see it and I've got to say, I liked that," Len said.
Score: 27

Mark Dacascos & Lacey Schwimmer: A very good paso doble. The chef was in his element, dancing with an intensity - and great abs! Len gave the couple his highest mark of the season for them.
Score: 26

Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson: We don't love Donny, but must give him props for this Argentine tango. He matched his partner step for step. Bruno and Carrie Ann gave Donny his first 10s of the season.
Score: 29

Louie Vito & Chelsie Hightower: The snowboarded, who pretty much has admitted he crushes on his partner, performed an improved Argentine tango. Vito started doing kicks and lifts that almost made him look like a dancer. "I really like the way you partner her," Carrie Ann said. "I really get the sense you're manipulating her." Eerie.
Score: 22

Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas: Solid, but nothing groundbreaking here. Hart chooses to be conservative most of the time. That may also have had something to do with Ballas' flu this week.
Score: 23

Kelly Osbourne & Louis Van Amstel: Kelly started slow, but gained confidence through. She looked great, too.  "When you are on it, you can deliver. So you've got to stay on it," Bruno said.
Score: 24.

Joanna Krupa & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: No Derek Hough this week, due to illness. Maks stumbled stepped in for the Argentine tango and actually tripped over Krupa once. Oops! "I was living my fantasies up until that stumble," Bruno said.
Score: 24
