Recap

It was Samba or Rumba night on Dancing with the Stars. As usual, that made for some interesting routines...

Mark Dacascos & Lacey Schwimmer: 18 points. They went with a slow tempo, but it didn't go very far. Carrie Ann Inaba said she found it "kind of uncomfortable to watch. That's never a positive review.

Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough: 23 points. Krupa moved her hips well for this Samba, as the judges gave it a mostly positive review. "Super sexy," said Inaba.

Mya & Dmitry Chaplin: 27 points. A great routine. One of the best Rumbas in history. Bruno Tonioli said: "You put all of us in the mood for love."

Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas: 19 points. Hart opened up during this Samba, causing Bruno to praise her, but not give her a great deal of points.

Louie Vito & Chelsie Hightower: 20 points. The snowboarder was adorably into his partner. But  Len didn't appreciate many of hi amorous tricks and only gave a five. Ouch!

Debi Mazar & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 17 points. Hard to see Mazar avoding the bottom two this week. Len compared it to cooking, stating: "You had all the ingredients, but it lacked the flavor."

Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson: 21 points. Not big praise from Bruno, as he wants Donny to "turn to the dark side." He response? He swept Bruno into his arms!

Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova: 14 points. A trainwreck all around. Irvin simply didn't do the Samba steps correctly. Enough said. He's a poor dancer.

Natalie Coughlin & Alec Mazo: 26 points. Looking incredible in a white dress, Coughlin made like a Grecian goddess. "I knew you could fly but you've gone stratospheric tonight!" Bruno said.

Chuck Liddell & Anna Trebunskaya: 17 points. A sort of crazed Samba, but Chuck' likeability often overcomes his dancing inability. Weird quote from Bruno: "A samba from zombie town - but Zombie Town is a hit!"

Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff: 21 points. Carter seemed almost confused and overwhelmed, stumbling often.  Bruno thought it lacked fluidity and Carrie Ann said he was "over-exaggerating" his movements.

Tom DeLay & Cheryl Burke: 15 points. DeLay boogied with stress fractures in each foot and went through with the Samba against the advice of both his doctor and the show's producers. Still, gotta admit: the final product wasn't good.

Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel: 20 points. Would Kelly rebound from last week? Eh, kind of. There wasn't much heat here, as Carrie ended up giving Kelly advice: "Stay focused, don't doubt yourself."
