Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer: A Triumphant Tango

Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer breathed a sigh of relief after their Tango Monday night.

As the former boy band singer told People Magazine after the pair received a 26 for its routine:

“That was the reaction we were going for this whole competition. It starts to get discouraging when you work your butt off all week, and you think you did great, and the judges just tear you down. This week, the pain finally paid off, and now we’re motivated even more.”

Tantalizing Tango

Matching eyeliner helped Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass score well on Dancing with the Stars last night.

A Sexy Samba Showcased on Dancing with the Stars

Is season seven of Dancing with the Stars already a two tandem race?

Brooke Burke and Derek Hough made it clear last night why they are the team to beat, scoring 26 points for an ultra sexy Samba.

But Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer equaled that total, thanks to a unique version of the Tango. Every other pairing seems to be performing for third place at this point.

Cheryl Burke Embraces Her Body

You don't need to be a size zero to be beautiful.

Cheryl Burke is making headlines for more than her Cha Cha with partner Maurice Greene.

The Dancing with the Stars professional says criticism of her body is both undeserved and dangerous; it sends a bad message to women.

In the following video, shots of Burke and Greene in training are interspersed with Cheryl's take on body image and the unfortunate role the media sometimes plays on this crucial issue:

Lance Bass Promises Pizzazz

Following an impressive Viennese waltz this week, Lance Bass was in no mood to celebrate.

Backstage at the results show last night, the former boy band member said he and partner Lacey Schwimmer are “going back to our style. We tried the traditional, and we were expecting a lot more from Len, and he may have liked it, but he still gave us the same score.

This week we’ll go back to the majority of the people that watch the show, and dance for them, because we think they want to see the pizzazz that we can bring to the dancefloor.”

Dancing with the Stars Review: A Perfect Score! A Backstage Fight!

The tandem that fights well together dances well together.

So was the story for Brooke Burke and Derek Hough last night, as training for - and fighting over - the Viennese Waltz led to the first perfect score of the season, handed out to the couple by Len Goodman.

Read the details of what went down with this Dancing with the Stars episode guide.

Dancing With the Stars Judges

Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli only award perfect 10s for, well, perfect dances. One of the judges thought a performance was worthy of such a mark last night.

Tony Dovolani is a Soap Opera Star

Tony Dovolani is taking soap opera star Susan Lucci under his talented wing this season on Dancing with the Stars.

But the daytime queen returns the favor on an upcoming episode of All My Children.

Dovolani will guest star on the October 27 episode, which depicts a tornado in Pine Valley. Lucci's character of Erica Kane is taken to the emergency room as a result of this natural disaster. And just who does she meet there?

Her Dancing with the Stars partner, who plays a fellow ER patient that suffered a broken leg in the tornado. Take a look at a still shot from the scene:

Lance Bass Pens Dancing with the Stars Diary

Lance Bass won't be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars any time soon.

After all, the singer basically made a career by... dancing! Paired with Lacey Schwimmer, the former boy band member is writing a weekly diary for Us Weekly. Here's an excerpt from it following this week's performance...

WELCOME TO ROUND TWO!
I’m glad we got through those two dances [last week]! We worked really hard on them, and I think we did really well. Tonight, we're dancing the Paso Doble to “I Kissed A Girl” by Katy Perry. It's not a very traditional song to do the Paso Doble to, but we're going to try to make it as traditional as possible to appease Len [Goodman]. Maybe this time, he will be looking at our dance and not the colored streaks in Lacey [Schwimmer]'s hair!

ALL ABOUT CLORIS...
Isn’t Cloris [Leachman] a hoot? She is pure entertainment backstage. She just has all of the producers on their toes; they are just waiting to push that censor button during her critiques! Now we have, like, a 10-second delay instead of the normal 7-seconds! If she goes anytime soon its going to be very depressing.

Dancing with the Stars Eliminates Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas

Looks like Kim Kardashian is better in bed than the dance floor.

The reality TV star - that rose to fame thanks to a sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J - was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last night.

Her and partner Mark Ballas never did seem natural this season, garnering one of the lowest scores after each of their three performances.

Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson: Contenders on Dancing with the Stars

For the third consecutive performance, Brooke Burke and Derek Hough earned the highest combined score from judges on Dancing with the Stars.

But they weren't alone last night.

Thanks to an intense Paso Doble, Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson tied the aforementioned couple with a mark of 24.

Ted McGinley and Inna Brayer Eliminated from Dancing with the Stars

Two dances were enough for viewers and judges to decide that Ted McGinley and Inna Brayer would not win this season's Dancing with the Stars. The tandem was eliminaed last night.

A class act, McGinley didn't sound bitter during his end-of-the-episode interview, saying: "Some of us aren't meant to dance, I guess."

Dancing with the Stars is down to 11 couples. Who will be given the boot next week?!?
