Everyone thinks a fax is totally useless, like an email on paper, blah blah. Which would be funny, if so many people didn't still use them.

Rip wants them to break into the Pentagon.

As janitors, we see how Snart and Ray work together, and how Snart woos the ladies.

Sara and Kendra are in uniform while Heat Wave is acting as a diversion as a private or something, arm wrestling.

Stein is being a dick to Jax while the latter does all the work.

Kendra goes a little cray in the Pentagon spreading her wings, and her claws. 

Their team player-ness goes awry when they all toss each other under the bus for what went wrong. The only good news is that Savage has defected to the Soviet Union. God help them all if they're headed there.

They chit chat about Valentina Vostok and Ray is the front man, Snart his wingman. 

Meanwhile, Rip wants Sara to train Kendra, something Sara doesn't want. At all.

Valentina blows out Ray's fire. Quite literally.

Rip finds out Chronos is right nearby. He wants to take Rory to track him down.

Chronos was killed in the crash. Another time master is there to scuttle the ship. He has words for Rip. He has a deal for Rip, acquittal even and a return to their timelines unharmed. The same can't be said for Carter Hall. Rip will consult with his comrades.

When Sara is training Kendra, Kendra goes all evil Hawkgirl and then gets surprised when she gets a bloodlust strangling in return.

Valentina gives Snart a steamy kiss goodnight and he steals her wallet and takes her security badge instead of getting actual information from her.

Rip offers the deal to Stein and Jax. They don't seem interested in taking it.

Rip goes to Time Master Druce. Just as Rory said, the dude has someone hold a gun to his head. He brings his team, though, and you know things aren't going to go really well when Stein is yelling inside of Jax' head and Jax is telling him to shut up.

Jax is hurt and bleeding. Stein is a complete asshole. I used to like him, but I don't anymore. 

Stein thinks he has to hurt Jax in order to get through to him. Thinking he has to tell Jax's mother if Jax gets hurt seems like too little too late.

Rip hoped Kendra might be able to coax out Sara;s human side, since after 4000 years of regeneration she should know a little something about rebirth.

Stein realizes Vostock is trying to build a Soviet Firestorm. 

Stein gets the fireball, and Valentina gets Snart. I can't stop thinking of how much VAlentina looks like Lisa Snart. It's distracting.

Snart takes off, leaving Rory to fend for himself.

That doesn't make Sara, Kendra, Jax or Snart happy, but Rip assures them they will get their compatriots back.

But we'll have to wait till next week!
