Gabrielle organizes a Halston fashion show for charity highlighting the ladies of Wisteria Lane.  John's mother, Helen Rowlan (Kathryn Harrold) thinks her son is sleeping with Susan and not Gabrielle, but Gabrielle soon confesses.  Carlos is arrested before he finds out.  Bree and Rex argue on how to punish Andrew for putting Carlos' mom in the hospital.  Police investigate a toy chest that Paul Young dumped in the river.  Lynette uses her business skills to poach a nanny, Claire (Marla Sokoloff).
