Holmes comes across a flight wreck where he figures out one of the victims was murdered. It turns out the private airline was smuggling drugs and the owner of the company killed his co-worker and sabotaged the flight. Watson attempts to meet with Holme's father but is greeted by an actor friend of Sherlock's. This friend then informs Watson of Holme's past love Irene Adler.
