Vince begins his first day on the set of Smoke Jumpers, however, he's very unhappy when he finds out the leader actor Jason Patric is stealing his lines. When Vince complains to the director, he tells him it's because Jason is too tempermental and that this will be better for his character arc. We find out at the end that the director has been giving Jason the lines.
Meanwhile, Ari is meeting with an old friend, Andrew Klein, who has become a TV script agent. Klein initially asks Ari for a loan due to cash flow problems, but after examining his books, Ari offers to buy Klein's company and make them part of Miller Gold. Barbara, his partner, does not seem too happy.
