Friday Night Lights Spoilers: A Landry & Tyra Reunion?

A little Friday Night Lights spoiler from EW's Q&A today ...

Q: I am a Media Buyer and, as God as my witness, Friday Night Lights will be renewed again. I am recruiting the buyers in my office to watch and purchase it. Best show on TV.

A: Fight the heck on. Don't miss tonight's penultimate Season 3 episode, which features (skip to the last sentence of this answer, non DirecTV subscribers!) the long-awaited Tyra/Landry reunion, as well as a nail-biter of a station championship game. Programming note: After the finale next Wednesday, Friday Night Lights' NBC run kicks off on Friday, January 16.

Friday Night Lights Spoilers For January, Beyond

E! Online's Kristin Dos Santos has some good Friday Night Lights gossip today in her spoiler Q&A. Here's what the TV reporter has to say about the upcoming Season 3 finale, the show's future after this spring, and more ...

Connie Britton of Friday Night Lights

Q: Can you please enlighten me on the future of Friday Night Lights? Please tell me this won't be the last season!

A: No decisions have been made yet, but according to big-time Friday Night Lights fan Chris Littmann of The Sporting News, the ratings trend on DirecTV is at least positive. BTW, how amazing was the birds-and-bees-talk episode where (Friday Night Lights spoiler alert if you haven't seen it) Coach walked in on Julie and Saracen? The Emmy voters should be throwing awards and rose petals at Connie Britton's feet, for crying out loud, and Kyle Chandler's, too. The new season of Friday Night Lights starts on NBC next Friday, January 16.

Friday Night Lights Spoilers For Season Three Finale & More

Classic Friday Night Lights From Season Three

Friday Night Lights returns Wednesday, January 7, with the second-to-last episode of Season 3 on DirecTV. The season finale is set for Wednesday, January 14, with FNL's NBC premiere of Season Three the following Friday (the 16th)!

We can't wait to watch them all over again. Here's one of our favorite clips from the third season so far, featuring Tim and Tyra and taken from "Tami Knows Best" ...

Friday Night Lights Spoilers, Etc.

Here's some Friday Night Lights commentary, spoilers and news courtesy of Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello today in his Q&A section ...

Q: So, as I was watching last week's episode of Friday Night Lights, I was once again reminded that the people who choose the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations are blind, deaf and dumb! Agreed?

A: Agreed. Friday Night Lights is on fire this season, and it sucks that Globe voters failed to recognize that. In fact, in EW's annual best and worst issue (on sale Friday), Smash's farewell episode is singled out by yours truly as one of the best hours of television all season. It was a close call between that episode and the Jeffrey Reiner-directed episode 8, "New York, New York," which featured my favorite Friday Night Lights scene of all time. It was the one where Eric and Tami came to an agreement that buying that fancy new house would be a terrible mistake. The subtle nuances that Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler brought to what could have easily been a throwaway scene just blew my mind. I've watched it, like, 11 times. And there's a good chance I'll make it a perfect dozen today. It's that good. On the Friday Night Lights spoiler front, Landry and Tyra's looming reunion gets sealed with a sorta-kiss in tonight's episode. And looking ahead to the season finale, a beloved character whose name begins with E or T and is cited somewhere in this answer will be fired from his/her job.
