Allison yells at Gary for Tom not finishing his homework whenever he comes to stay at Gary's and this weekend he has a report to do on President Hoover. That's when Gary's half brother, Mitch (Rob Riggle), comes in from the war in Afghanistan to visit. They spend that night drinking and playing video games with the kids.. but Saturday is going to be all about his report.
That is until Gary goes to work and Mitch and his father Jack grab the kids and do a Vegas road trip. Gary comes home to find out the news by phone, and immediately heads out to grab them. Gary finds Mitch at the craps table and gets pissed that he's turning him into an Allison and making him too serious. He ends up wrestling his brother on the casino floor and soon ends up in jail. After being bailed out by Jack, Gary realizes that maybe they should have a little fun and he owes Allison an apology for how he acted over the years.
Despite Tom finishing his report, Allison still finds out.
