Amanda decides to show daughter that women can do whatever they set their minds to, and forms an all women's barbecue cook-off. Little by little, the women eventually join the team for differing reasons. Heather wants to impress the local butcher. Sharon wants to rescue Zack's business. Carlene wants to defy Ripp.
Cricket is busy getting her prize winning horse to mate with a stud from Mason Massey. Mason soon makes advances towards Cricket, telling her her marriage isn't real and that he can be discreet. The two end up kissing.
Back at the cook off, the women's team eventually wins.
The episode ends with Luke informing Ripp of what is going on in Juarez, where Carlene's Christian Condos are being built.

Loved watching the women come together to rally against the men at the BBQ. Particularly liked that Carlene finally went against Ripp since a lot of her storylines have been espousing a fairly traditional view of marriage. On the whole it was pretty hilarious - even *gasp* Heather!
