Recap
There were three major storylines on Glee this week:
1. Will arranged to have dinner with Emma's parents because he wanted to finally meet them. But it was quickly apparent that they are responsible for how Emma is OCD because they are so critical... and they are also Ginger Supremacists. Will apologizes to Emma for the double date and ends the episode by praying with her.
2.. Mike Change gets an A- in class, leading his dad to say he needs to drop singing and focus on his studies. Instead, Mike ups the ante. He lands a role in West Side Story and is inspired when he learns his mother also loves to dance.
3. Mercedes and Rachel have a sing-off for the role of Maria. Even Rachel admits Mercedes did better, yet the judges split the role, prompting Mercedes to quit and join Shelby's renegade choir. Rachel also decides to run for school president because she doesn't think singing is enough.
