- Richard performs his 10,000th surgery, a liver transplant between sisters.
- Derek and Lexie attempt to operate on a kid with an inoperable tumor, which they are not able to do.
- Adele shows up at the hospital, lost in her Alzheimer’s. She believes Richard left her for Ellis and he sings to her during his surgery.
- Mark’s new girlfriend tells him I love you, he doesn’t respond.
- Derek and Mer host a party for Zola. At the party, Cristina and Owen get into a huge argument that everyone overhears.
- Jackson, Alex, and April make plans to move out of the house.
Lexie: Mark, I'm dying. Please tell Meredith I love her and that she is a good sister.

There's nothing else we can do for you." These are the last words a surgeon wants to tell a patient. Giving up doesn't come easy to us, so we do everything in our power not to. For surgeons, a lost cause just means – try a little harder.
When do you throw in the towel? Admit that a lost cause is something just that? There comes a point where it all becomes too much. When we get too tired to fight anymore. So we give up. That's when the real work begins. To find hope where there seems to be absolutely none at all.

What happened to Derek taking chances? He used to take unbelievable chances on trying to save someone! I cryed when the boy told his Mom that he knew he would be going to heaven! That was a good ending! Something was bound to happen with all that happend between Christina and Owen and his true feelings about the abortion sure came out! Wow! As always I LOVE every episode!! :)

MEredith should go into Neuro, Derek and her look so cute working together!!! I don't like lexie working with him , is not the same

What specialty do you think Meredith will choose? Maybe she can go back to Neuro, since Derek and her are in such a good place now...
