Zoe cures the high school football team from athletes foot and wins over the heart of their star kicker Max who also happens to be Rose's new crush. Zoe can't break Max's heart by shutting him down because they need him to win.

Rose is hurt when she sees Zoe on a date with Max and her best friend Tonya (guest star McKayla Maroney) sticks up for her. Eventually, Zoe shuts him down and reconciles with Rose. Lemon wants to starts a catering company and Annabeth lies to her and starts her own. This causes the two to fight and hash out old feelings and eventually reconcile and become partners.

Lavon and Ruby are getting hot and heavy with their new relationship but her grandfather does not approve.
