The flu hits Bluebell when attempts to lockdown the town by Zoe and Lavon fail. Wade is the cause for the flu when he sneaks back into Bluebell. Lavon and Annabeth spend the day together and eventually kiss. Lemon and her beau are set to finally have sex but she comes down with the flu and it doesn't go as planned. Magnolia tries to throw a party but no one shows up because everyone is sick except Rose. Wade and Zoe understand that they should be able to take care of each other.
