A man attending a comic book convention was thrown from a ten story window. The Five-O were called in to investigate and discovered that the man was killed because he was mistaken for someone else. Further investigation led the Five-O to a burglar that the real killer was after.

Danno and McGarrett found an SD card to a camera hidden in one of the thief's stolen items. The video on the card contained an image of a woman who had been found murdered months before. After reexamining past evidence and questioning the victim's parents the man in the video was I.D.'d as Richard Davis. However, after interrogating Davis the Five-O realized that he was not the killer. It was his wife.

An agent from the CIA, Jenna Kaye, demanded that McGarrett hand over all the evidence he had regarding his father's investigation. McGarrett used his own resources to discover that Kaye was working rogue. Kaye revealed that she was investigating Wo Fat on her own after her fiance was killed in a raid that turned out to be a set up. McGarrett decided to allow Kaye to help him in his investigation.

Wo Fat confronted McGarrett at a restaurant and warned him that he might like what he discovers about his family.
