Thomas Durant is having problems with his railroad being built and receiving payroll for his workers.
Durant sends Elam Ferguson on a task to protect the payroll train. On his journey he stops in Nebraska and see's his former love, Eva.
Cullen's group tries to rob the train, but after Cullen and Elam chat, the gang runs away thinking Elam was able to stop them.
A prostitute is murdered but no one knows who did it.
The Swede has been relegated to cleaning up dead bodies. He no longer is the man in power.
Mickey and Sean McGinnes take up the Swede's past job of protecting the prostitutes.
Cullen and his crew attempt to rob another train but he is betrayed and sent off to be executed.
