Dan shoots his Lancer admission film with the Hellcats. Savannah submits his film without him knowing because of he is nervous to screen it. The squad comes out to support his film, which is received very well.
Marti heads to the guitar shop where her father’s picks were from. She finds an old set list hanging on the wall, dated after Wanda had said he died. She confronts her mother, who tells her that Rex had been a drug addict. Wanda gives her Rex’s guitar with a song he wrote the day she was born. Marti performs it at the bar.
Alice is working with a reporter to uncover school scandals. She meets with a student who writes papers for athletes, catching it on video. Lewis asks Alice to kill the story because he was a prior client.
Marti: If you needed me, I would drop everything. I know we don't know each other very well but you're my sister and that means something to me.
