Season 12 kicks off with Gordon Ramsay dividing the 20 new chefs into two male-female teams.

In the opening challenge, the squads must prepare their signature dish, with the winners treated to an exclusive dinner with Ramsay... and the losers are left to scrub down the kitchen. Ouch!
