Quinn decides not to kill Brody.  Carrie then must decide whether to stay with him, or stay in the CIA.  A bomb from Brody's car goes off right outside the memorial service for Vice President Walden, killing many people.  Brody didn't do it, but everyone assumes he did, so he goes on the run.  Carrie decides to stay.
