Lily and Marshall throw a house warming party, but the night is anything but relaxing for Lily who spends the night averting crisis after crisis while also waiting for her father to ruin everyting. Marshall's boss and Ted get into a fight, but when Marshall is told to go back to the office it's he who puts his foot down. Barney is conflicted about sleeping with a divorcee after Lily shares some shocking news about her last relationship. Ted and Robin fight throughout the episode but resolve their differences in the end.
