Recap

SVU investigates a former basketball player's claim that Ray Masters, a well-known and respected coach for professional and youth basketball programs, molested him as a child. Living as homeless junkie now, Stevie talks to new detective, Nick Amaro, about the abuse. He claims the coach paid him off to keep him quiet, but the detectives are unable to get any other corroborating victims, witnesses, or physical evidence.

Stevie claims his roommate, now a big-time basketball star, got much worse treatment from the coach. However, the player, Prince Miller, won't admit the abuse happened and resents Stevie for suggesting it. When Stevie turns up dead of an overdose, the team is suspicious and find out that Prince's manger, his cousin Supreme, forced a "hot shot" of heroin into the recovering addict to protect his meal ticket from the bad press.

Confronted with his former coach and the fact that he continues to molest young boys on his teams, Prince finally testifies to the grand jury about his abuse and holds a press conference in which he urges other victims to come forward. Then, Coach Ray Masters is arrested.
