Law & Order: SVU Season 17 Episode 14 is a crossover episode with Chicago PD. Benson calls Voight in when Gregory Yates claims responsibility for a bunch more murders, which he says occurred in the Midwest. Erin Lindsey goes to interrogate him in prison and he is creepy but doesn't really give her much info. He wants to see Rollins or he won't talk.

Sonny and Rollins head up to the prison and Yates asks Rollins about her pregnancy, much to Sonny's annoyance. He wants to be transferred to honor block, where serial killers generally are not placed. Rollins thinks that's the only way he will talk. They convince the warden to do it.

Yates asks Rudnick several times about lasagnas he gets from one of the prison volunteers. The volunteer is the same woman who helped William Lewis escape.

Benson wants Rollins off the case, which really annoys Rollins. She feels she is being coddled because she has a child now. In the meantime, Benson, Barba and Lindsey head to the prison. There is a lockdown when drones appear in the air. During the lockdown it is discovered that Yates and Rudnick are gone.

The cops start an intensive manhunt. This is personal for both Benson and Lindsey. They find the prison volunteer in the trunk of a car and arrest her. Her info leads them to Rudnick, but he is injured. The manhunt continues, leading to a shocking event.
