They are caught, but a young kid appears out of nowhere and saves them. Her name is Hope Marshall, from The Originals Season 4.

Her aim is to take down The Hollow.

We learn that Lizzie wrote the first part of the story and Josie wrote the second part when she heard about the first.

Hope went to battle the masked villain and unmasked him: It was Malivore.

Hope told Josie and Lizzie that she needs to become a tribrid if she has any hope of taking down the villain.

She said she doesn't want to be the reason to blame for any bloodshed, but Lizzie and Josie say they will help her.

As they hug it out, they realize someone came out of the mud. When they go into the barn to check, Clark emerges from the show.

Legacies Season 3 Episode 15 Quotes

Alien: Want a drink?
Hope: I don't know, Lizzie, why don't you tell us what you want us to drink?
Lizzie: What I told you is that I wrote this story when I was a kid in my diary. I don't remember much of it, obviously, especially any no name space junk hoarders, so I don't even know what you're doing here, Hope. Drink whatever you want.

Josie: I am so good at cleaning up your messes and supporting you. It's almost as if I was written to have no wants or needs of my own.
Lizzie: Don't make me unplug you.
