It's Bo's birthday and an ominous gift from her father has her worried. She consults Cassie the oracle, who happens to be on a date. Her date walks her to her door and leaves, but after he does, Cassie is in terrible pain.

When Cassie doesn't show up to meet her the next day, Bo is worried. Lauren and Tamsin forgot about Bo's birthday and Tamsin picks out a lucky cat talisman as a present. Little do they know that the talisman brings the owner luck by taking it from people who don't respect its power. In this case, Lauren. Bo spends the episode slowly turning into a cat, a side effect of the luck.

Dyson's son befriends Vex and the two get into some trouble with some girls, one of who steals Trick's ledger. After Bo and Tamsin discover Cassie's bloody apartment, they track down Heratio, the man she dated from Fae Date who had
something to do with her disappearance. Bo uses her cat luck to find Cassie, who is missing her eyes.

They learn Heratio paid off Cassie's cousin Seymour, and they trick Seymour into stealing the lucky cat to free Bo from its control. Lauren and Dyson realize that Heratio is a victim of the elevator crash whose body went missing. Cassie clawed her own eyes out when she was shown the beginning and end.

Tamsin gives Bo a special birthday surprise and Bo shares information about her father's origins.
