Lost Spoilers: Stuck in the Past

After last night's amazing "316" on Lost, fans just want to know what's in store for next week.  In Kristin Dos Santos' latest Lost Redux, she revealed what's coming up on for our Islanders.

According to Kristin, it looks like Josh Holloway will soon be sporting some mean muttonchops as he gets stuck in the 70's and when we say stuck we mean stuck.  According to her ABC Lost source, Sawyer is going to be stuck in the 70's for years, but at least he'll have someone in the past with him.

Sawyer and Juliet

Who do you think is going to be stuck with Sawyer?  Juliet?

Losing Yet Another Lostie?

Those of you who are still mourning for the recent loss of Charlotte on Lost may soon be mourning again.  According to Ausiello files, another character will be dying before the end of the season.

Though his source didn't say who was dying, we are told that the character is "major-ish."  That sounds less than series regular and probably somewhere around recurring.

Our best guesses?  Faraday, Penny or Juliet.  Give your best guesses in the comments!

Rebecca Mader as Charlotte

RIP, Charolette. You may soon have some company.

Lost Recap: "316"

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

This verse, perhaps the most famous and frequently quoted in the entire Bible, conveys to readers that believing in God is the only path to eternal salvation.

There are Lost spoilers and there are recurring, ever-present themes. Jack Shephard's disbelief in the mythology of the island has pervaded all five seasons of Lost.

Last night, on Ajira Airlines flight 316, carrying the body of a man named John - one willing to give his life so that others would believe in his cause - that changed.

Jack finally believes, and with the rest of the Oceanic Six, he is back on the island he left last season. How he got there made for an incredible episode last night.

Lost Interview with Michael Emerson

Who better to get Lost spoilers from than the man who plays the most interesting character on the show?  TV Guide recently spoke with Michael Emerson to find out about Ben's upcoming plotlines and just general Lost spoilers.  Here's a small excerpt with some of the juiciest bits:

TVGuide.com: With all this time jumping happening on the island, will we see young Ben again?
Emerson: Yes. In fact, now that we are sort of ping-ponging around in the time-space continuum, all those backstories are re-emerging in more important ways. And the characters are, to some extent, going to be recontextualized. I know Ben is. You're going to learn things about him that either mitigate or intensify some of the judgments you've made about him

Ben Linus

TVGuide.com: Did Ben's little girlfriend Annie die in The Purge?
Emerson: We don't know. That's still up in the air, but I'm guessing that's one of the most burning questions of the backstory that I'm sure will be dealt with. We have so much bouncing around in time and space to do this season it will make you dizzy. It's also going to provide some thrills and chills

TVGuide.com: So you think Annie will pop back into the picture?
Emerson: Yeah, I think so. In fact, I may go so far as to say we may already know Annie. Have you considered that? I'm not speaking from knowledge of a script because that's not a thing that has been written, but stranger things have happened on the show. Everyone is more connected then they ever thought, and it's often by blood

Lost Spoilers: "316" Clips

We have two preview clips from tomorrow night's new episode of Lost, "316" that show some of the juiciest parts of the episode.  In the first clip, we get to see the scene that leads up to Jack and Kate kissing, and, of course, the kiss itself.

316 Clip 1

In the second clip from the episode, we get to see our first glimpse of a Dharma base off the Island.  This base, nicknamed lamp post, is apparently the way in which they first discovered the Island.  Watch the clip after the jump.

Lost Q&A With Rebecca Mader

Well, it's certainly no longer considered a Lost spoiler that Charlotte died.  We may have known for weeks that we were losing an Islander and due to her bleedimg, it was most likely going to be Charlotte.

Now that Charlotte's gone, the Los Angeles Times was lucky enough to do an exit interview with the beautiful actress, Rebecca Mader that plays her.  Now that she's gone, Mader was able to talk freely about the show without fear of the Lost producers hunting her down.  Here's a small excerpt:

How did the producers break it to you that Charlotte was going to die?
I've known since June of '08, because that’s when we negotiate contracts between seasons. Originally, when I started on the show in August of 2007, I was only supposed to do eight episodes. I ended up doing 20. I was on the show a lot longer than I thought I was going to be. A lot of it has to do with the writers strike. Less episodes in Season 4 meant backstories were compromised for the new people. I think that’s why my character carried into Season 5.

Charlotte Lewis

What was the experience of being on the show so far from its writers, who are all based in Los Angeles?
It's rare to work on a series without a writer. If you have a question about a line, then phone calls have to be made. It’s 2 o’clock in the morning and you have to wake someone up if an actor isn’t feeling a line. Sometimes it’s too much of an effort. Sometimes my line is written in a certain way, and it needs to be more English. I would go to the script supervisor usually to make changes.

How much did they tell you about Charlotte initially?
When I first got the job, I was told nothing about my character. She's an anthropologist and she’s tough, she’s a female Indiana Jones. That’s what I went into the show knowing. That’s all I knew all of Season 4, until the very end, when I learned I was originally from the island. I was on a break reading my script, and I said, "Bloody hell!"

You can read the rest of the interview at the Los Angeles Times.  It's an entertaining read for sure.

Lost Spoilers: "316" Plot

ABC has released a plot summary for next episode of Lost, "316."   According to the network, the path for the Ocean Six to return to the Island is finally revealed.  Unfortunately, it looks like not everyone is willing to go back, which, of course, is going to be a problem.

Now, sure, that sounds like an exciting enough premise for Lost and all, but what we want to talk about is that kiss we saw between Jack and Kate in the previews.  How do all you Skate fans feel about that!?

Lost Recap: "This Place is Death"

No amount of Lost spoilers could have prepared one for unexpected twists, bizarre encounters and developments of last night's episode. Some of the biggest issues are still unresolved and significant plot holes remain, but this thrill ride certainly wasn't boring.

Locke set out to stop the island's flashes through time, even if it meant sacrificing himself, while Sun's confrontation of Ben led to a startling revelation.

Lost Interview With Daniel Dae Kim

Now that Jin is alive again on Lost, Daniel Dae Kim has been busy making rounds doing interviews.  In Kim's latest interview with TV Guide, he talks about his reintroduction and even teases a little about where Jin's storyline is going.

TVGuide.com: That was a very cool reintroduction you got.
Daniel Dae Kim: Yeah! I was happy with the way they did that, for sure.

TVGuide.com: What is going through Jin's mind at this moment?
Kim: [Laughs] Probably water. Water. Food. I don't think he really cares about anything else. He's probably so dehydrated and dazed that he doesn't have much awareness of what's going on.

TVGuide.com: And without Faraday around to explain to him the time-jumping thing...
Kim: I think he's still confused as to how this could be. But you'll see that he goes through his own little "excellent adventure." [Laughs] Like Bill and Ted.

Jin-Soo Kwon

TVGuide.com: Do you think Jin would approve of the mission of vengeance Sun is currently on in the States?
Kim: I think that Jin, in his transition to who he is now, would probably make less of a judgment on Sun for anything.

TVGuide.com: Maybe she'll learn that he's alive before she goes too far?
Kim: I'm curious to find that out myself. I'd like to see how much of her new personality is because of what she believes happened to Jin, or is it part of a larger growth for her?

TVGuide.com: Is it safe to say they will be reunited by the Season 5 finale?
Kim: You know what? I am not sure. We just got the script for [Episode] 13 out of 17. But I think it's inevitable that they're reunited at some point.

TVGuide.com: What else can you tease about Jin's upcoming storyline?
Kim: I can say this: He finally has some scenes with characters that he, in five years, has never really interacted with.

You can read the rest of the interview at TV Guide.
