Lost Recap: "Namaste"

No Lost spoilers could have prepared us for all this.

A young Ben offering food to an imprisoned Sayid.

Sun somehow behind separated from the Oceanic 6.

Another appearance by the all-knowing Christian Shephard.

Jack posing as a recruit and meeting Pierre Chang, a.k.a. Marvin Candle, then being put in his place by Sawyer, a.k.a. LaFleur, who is clearly the one calling the shots nowadays.

It was a great hour of Lost, answering almost as many questions as it posed in its romp through the '70s and the present. Follow the link for our detailed recap of "Namaste" ...

Lost Interview with Elizabeth Mitchell

When we last had a two Lost episode two weeks ago, we saw a groovy love between Juliet and Sawyer back in the 70s.  TV Guide recently spoke with the beautiful actress behind Juliet, Elizabeth Mitchell, and she discussed her love story and where it was going.

Here's a small excerpt from their great interview:

TVGuide.com: What went through your mind as you learned of the Juliet-Sawyer love story?
Mitchell: There's my initial feelings, my middle feelings, and then my feelings now. At first, Josh [Holloway] and I were like, "Nuh-uh! That's never going to work!"

TVGuide.com: What are Juliet's priorities now?
Mitchell: Juliet has a couple of priorities, one of which of course is being in love, and that's figuring quite heavily in the writers' minds. And there's always the thing of, "How do I get my life back? How do I keep my sister and her child safe?" They are in this eye of the storm, this little hiatus, and that's new for her. Good lord, she's working in the motor pool, so she's not even trying to save lives! For the first time in her life, she's quite peaceful and living. Now it's becoming a matter of survival again.

TVGuide.com: When I spoke to Reiko Aylesworth (Amy), she seemed to hint that the Purge is imminent, though it would seem to be a few years away. Is that anything the characters talk about?
Mitchell: We mention it a couple times, but isn't it still a little bit down the road? Ben was so much older. He's only 11 now, and when the Purge happened and he killed his father, he was like 17.

TVGuide.com: And 11-year-old Ben is lurking around somewhere...
Mitchell: Of course he's there. He has to be. So it will be very interesting to see how that goes.

Lost Spoilers: "Getting Lost 6"

The producers of Lost may have taken the week off, but the restless creators of the "Getting Lost" webisodes, Matt Mitovich, never does.  In his latest installment, Matt talks about the four toed statue in "LaFleur" and then helps give us a clue on who Amy's baby is.

Watchers of the websidoes guessed that Amy's baby was one of these four important Lost men: Ethan Rom, Desmond, Jacob, and Daniel Faraday.  According to Matt, it's absolutely one of those four.

Lost Spoilers: A Major Death

It looks like that in addition to the major-ish death that will occur on Lost this season, we're also going to see a major death!  According to Kristin Dos Santos, a series regular will die by the end of the fifth season.

So what hints does Krisitn offer us?

  • The character who will die is someone who is much-loved by many of you fans.
  • This is a real leaving-the-show death, à la Shannon or Charlie, not a quick-fix time-travel death like Jeremy Bentham/John Locke.
  • The character getting killed off is not, I repeat, not Evie's character Kate Austen.

Lost Spoilers: Claire Returning

There may be no new episode of Lost tonight, but we do have some good news for you.  According to TV Guide's Megabuzz, there will only be one more week off from Lost in mid-April when they show a clip show.

Now for the juicy Lost spoilers.  According to the column they have confirmed that Emilie de Ravin is indeed returning for Lost's sixth and final season.  Claire will not be returning as just some time jump.

Good, Aaron must miss his mommy.
