Lost Interview with Reiko Aylesworth

As previously reported, 24 alumna Reiko Aylesworth makes her debut on Lost tonight as the pregnant woman named Amy in "LaFleur."  TV Guide recently interviewed Aylesworth and she gave them spoiler-filled responses for your enjoyment. The following is a small excerpt from the interview:

TVGuide.com: Do we know who the father is?
Aylesworth: Following that [first episode], you do find out who the father is.

TVGuide.com: Might Amy be giving birth to someone... "special"?
Aylesworth: I will say yes, it's a special person. And you eventually find out who — but not in that first episode.

Amy and Juliet

TVGuide.com: Might the castaways not want Amy to give birth to this person?
Aylesworth: They don't know at this point who... well, what the stakes are. My character really draws them into a new world, I will say that. That's mainly what she is for, taking them to that point where they have to decide [about interfering with the past].

TVGuide.com: Does the ending involve the hooded woman Sawyer uncovers in the promo?
Aylesworth: No, that's not at the end. There are so many reveals in this. This episode opens up many cans of worms. [The hooded woman] leads into the whole shift in the storyline. But then the end is very cool, too. It widens the scope of the show even more, which is hard to believe! It's game-changing.

There's even more Lost spoilers in the full interview.

Lost Spoilers: Sawyer's Time Buddy

On tomorrow night's episode of Lost, we already know that Sawyer is going to be trapped in the 70s.  Now thanks to Kristin Dos Santos, we know that Sawyer will be trapped in the disco decade for three whole years and we now know who his travel buddy is!  Sawyer will be traveling with Jin and as a result of his time in the 70's, Jin will speak far better English.

Kristin also revealed that Richard Alert may just cross paths with Mrs. Hawking, but not in a way you think.  When Kristen recently spoke to Fionnula Flanagan, she said she hasn't had any scenes with Nestor Carbonell yet, but "Perhaps I have in some previous existence, or in some previous materialization of Mrs. Hawking, but it hasn't come to light yet."

Sounds like Lost speak for meeting in a different time.

Lost Clips: "LaFleur"

After last week's Locke-centric episode of Lost, this week viewers can definitely expect the episode to focus a little more on Sawyer and Juliet based on the clips we got from "LaFleur."

In this first clip, Faraday tells Sawyer and Juliet that whenever they are is where they're stuck.  Watch below:

In the second clip, when Sawyer sees a woman in a sack about to be shot he rushes in to be a hero.  Watch the clip after the jump.

Lost Spoilers: "Getting Lost 5"

In TV Guide's latest "Getting Lost" feature, we they speak with both the actor that portrays Walt, Malcom David Kelley, and the actress that will be playing Amy, Reiko Aylesworth, in next week's new episode of Lost, "LaFleur."

Besides the video being humorous when Kelley describes his desire for Walt to come back and seek revenge as a superhero, this fifth installment reveals the question we've all been dying to know since we saw the pictures from LaFleur a couple weeks ago, "who is Amy pregnant with?"

Watch the video below for a nice hint on the spawn of Amy:

Evangeline Lilly is NOT Leaving Lost

Despite some Lost spoilers you may have read around the web (started by Korbi from Zap2It), Evangeline Lilly is not leaving Lost to pursue other television pilots.

According to Ausiello, Lilly's rep said, "We have no idea how this rumor got started and whoever started it didn’t call us or ABC to verify the validity of it, for which there is none."

Don't worry Kate fans, Evangeline Lilly is under contract with Lost through the sixth season so she's not going anywhere.

Lost Spoilers: Two New Characters

During the season finale of Lost, expect two new potentially recurring characters to be introduced.  According to Ausiello we're going to meet Jason, a former soldier who's a natural born Pied Piper.  The second new character will be Samuel, a J.R. Ewing type who loves a good corporate takeover.

Meanwhile, an update on which Lost character is dying, Ausiello says that Juliet is definitely safe.  As far as poor Penny, however, her fate is looking worse than ever as the actress that portrays her, Sonya Walger, landed the lead role on ABC's Flash Forward.

Lost Recap: "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"

Lost Fans have been wondering since May of last year how John Locke - a.k.a. Jeremy Bentham - came to rest in that coffin, as shown in the Season Four finale.

Well, now we know, and while plenty of unanswered questions remain, no Lost spoilers could have prepared viewers for some of the events of last night's episode.

The episode was called "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham," though it could have also worked in reverse, as the Island has apparently reincarnated Locke.

But that's a subject for another time. Last night's flashback-oriented drama focused on the things that happened to Locke after he left the Island. In two words: A lot.

Lost Interview with Malcom David Kelley

During an interview with former Lost star, Malcom David Kelley, who played Walt on the show, Kelley revealed that he will be appearing on tonight's episode, "The Life and Dead of Jeremy Bentham."  So what did Kelley say about his role in tonight's epiosde?

TVGuide.com: But sure enough, Walt returns this week. In what capacity?
Kelley: Let's see.... I don't want to give anything away...  but there's a situation where he knows something is going on, but nobody told him. It's that sort of thing.

TVGuide.com: What, does he get wind that Jack, Kate and the others are returning to the island?
Kelley: I'm just going to be talking to somebody, and.... Let's just say I know a little bit about what's going on, but nobody wants to tell me.

TVGuide.com: Now that the show is time-jumping around, do you get to play closer to your real age of 16? No more waving from windows or skewed camera angles?
Kelley: I do, and that's a very cool thing. I don't have to play this young boy anymore. I don't have to change my voice or have them dub in someone else's voice. There were a lot of things we had to do to try to make me sound younger.

Lost Clips: "The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham"

  • Were Claire told Kate, "Don't you dare bring him back" and Charlie told Jack, "You're not supposed to raise him," were they possibly referring to Locke?
  • With Jack back, will we be seeing less Sawyer?
  • Will we more of Lance Reddick's Matthew Abaddon?

The answers to all these questions and more are in the following video:
