- When a fugitive from a 1970s domestic terrorist group is found stabbed in the woods, the NCIS team is brought in to investigate due to a possible re-emergence of the group. NCIS tracks the group, the GBP, to a college campus and a history professor through a former group member in jail.

- The professor says he is writing a book about the GBP. Deeks searches his office and finds a bomb. Callen and Sam head to the professor's house just as it explodes. The professor is identified as one of the terrorists that was presumed dead in the 1970s. He tried to fake his death again, but NCIS tracks him down and arrests him.
