In last week's episode, we are left with the tragedy that Captain Wescott left behind a good friend and soldier in combat and is suffering from severe PTSD.  He attacks what appears is an innocent person, but who turns out to be one of the terrorists in the enemy's camp.  The 2nd part continues with Gibbs helping Wescott recover his memories enough to track down this terrorist before he strikes again.

In the meantime, Abby, while trying to stay focused on the case, is getting nervous about making sure they make it in time for Thanksgiving dinner with Gibbs hosting the event this year.  And, DiNozzo is on a mission to find out Ziva's mystery date to the opera.

The episode has a fantastic twist, though, and has a very happy ending, just in time for Thanksgiving.  The terrorist, Randall Cursey, is caught along with his partner who turns out to be his girlfriend.  And, at the end of the investigation, Westcott finally remembers that he didn't let Cursey drag his team member away to be killed.  Instead, he ran in the line of fire to pull him away to try and save him.  Wescott is still a damaged man, but he certainly can now be called a hero. God Bless America and Happy Thanksgiving.

And throw myself in the Arno*!

Katherine Jenkins
O mio babbino caro

Thanks for the tip on "O mio babbino caro." Maria Callas is the singer? I was hoping someone had the correct information.

No, the song was "O mio babbino caro"

The singer sounds like the Welsh soprano Elisabeth Jenkins. Is that correct?

what threw me was that i had never heard this sung by a woman. i always think of jussi bjorling and nessun dorma.

The aria was Nessun Dorma from Puccini's opera Turandot.

The name of the aria singer and opera that Ziva listened to at the end of the 11/20/12 episode? Thank you.

What is the title of the song and who is singing the opera at the end of tonight's episode . Shell shock pt.2

Gibbs: I'm on the other side now. I tried to catch Wescott, he wouldn't let me.
Ducky: No, you can't Gibbs, but you can call him.

I'm more of a Super-Mario guy, myself.
