Recap

NCIS questions a woman who was electronically stealing credit card information by scanning an electronic scanner over people’s purse or wallets.

One of the stolen numbers was flagged as being on the terrorist watch list. It turns out that it belongs to Mossad officer and employee of Eli David, Malachi Ben-Gion and his partner Liat Tuvia.

Vance, being somewhat elusive about a conference he has to attend, instructs Gibbs to take the lead on investigating the death of three smugglers found off the coast of Florida.

The three smugglers turn out to be linked to the reason our Mossad officers are in town.

Three Palestinian terrorist paid the smugglers to transport them from Cuba into the states, then killed them to avoid a trace.

Gibbs discovers the terrorists are in town to assassinate Mossad Director Eli David, who is attending Vance’s conference.

NCIS must provide protection detail. Ziva, Tony, Malachi and Liat are instructed to secure the hotel where Vance’s conference is taking place.

An Army transport truck carrying large amounts of weapons is hijacked. Al-Masri, the head of the Palestinian terror group, is closing in.

Two of the three terrorists are apprehended but they are unable to find Al-Masri.

On the way to the conference gun fire erupts and Ziva instructs Eli and his driver, Amir Hadar, back to the safe house.

The episode ends with Gibbs trying to contact the safe house. We see Hadar lying dead and Eli nowhere in sight.

NCIS Season 8 Episode 8 Quotes

Ziva: We cannot really be sure that, because this girl crossed paths with him here yesterday, we will cross paths with him today.
Tony: Also can't be sure that Gibbs will be swilling coffee when we get back to the office, or you'll fumble a simple American expression, or that McGee will sleep alone tonight - but, people do tend to follow patterns.

Tony: Still won't keep you hacky types from stealing my numbers from the matrix, anyway. (waves wallet over credit card reader) Look at it, doesn't work!
McGee: That's right. You should still be terrified of my kind.
Ziva: (laughs and gets the card reader to work) And apparently 22-year-old girls.
Tony: I refuse to be afraid of 22-year-old girls, no matter what kind of... magical pick-pocketing devices they're sporting. You know who the real victim is? Artistry.
Ziva: If someone wants something out of your pants, they should have to use their hands.
