Review Round Table Quotes

Recap

Part 2 of a two-episode arc has Gibbs and Pride teaming up to find a killer who appears to be copying the methodology of someone labeled as the "Privileged Killer".

The two NCIS teams eventually discover that the man originally jailed as the "Privileged Killer" was framed by Gibbs' and Pride's former team mate, Dan McLane.

Years ago, McLane had been offered a bribe to alter evidence in order to frame a man named Lourda.  He took it to pay the medical bills for his mother who was in failing health, and for his daughter who had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Through the years, McLane had accepted hush money from Joseph Hanlon, who was protecting his son Spencer - the real "Privileged Killer".  McLane was killed because he had decided to come clean about his bribe.

McGee interviews Joseph Hanlon at his home, when he notices some pictures of the family.  Just as he figures out that Spencer is the likely killer, Joseph knocks him out with a golf club.

Joseph then calls his son to warn him that NCIS knows his secret, and then kills himself.

Tony and Fornell break into the Hanlon home and discover McGee bruised but okay.

Meanwhile, Gibbs and Pride eventually hunt down Spencer Hanlon in a cemetery, where he's just about to kill another Navy officer.  They tell him to drop the knife, but he doesn't.  Pride and Gibbs shoot and kill him.

Pride tells Brody that he's asked the director to extend her visit to New Orleans indefinitely.

NCIS Season 11 Episode 19 Quotes

Pride: There's things you trust when you live in Louisiana. Trust the river will rise, people will rise to the occasion, no matter what the challenge. Trust the rain will never stop pouring, the drinks will never stop flowing and music will never stop playing. After all the hell you go through living here, you trust in God almighty, and you trust in friends and family. All those years, the man I call my brother was living a lie and I took it, hook line and sinker.
Gibbs: You know the truth now.

I hope you don't mind. I just asked the director to skip protocol and extend your visit to New Orleans indefinitely.
