-Jess realizes that she's increasingly attracted to Nick, especially since he's taking a more proactive attitude about his job and his personal hygiene.

-Jess gets injured and, while whacked out on painkillers, tries to have sex with Nick. She claims to not remember the incident after the pills wear off.

-Nick is hooking up with his boss at work, but only because he thought Jess wasn't interested in him; when he realizes that she is, he scrambles to hide the two women from each other.

-Winston takes Schmidt to the aquarium, to try to get his mind off of Cece. However, once at the aquarium, Schmidt becomes fixated on the California lionfish, a fish that reminds him of Cece. Schmidt goes to great lengths to purchase the fish.
