Recap

-Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.), an original loft roommate, returns, and plans a wild night out at a strip club for the guys.

-Jess confronts Nick about his going to the strip club, and Nick--eager to impress Coach with his machismo--tells Jess that she can't make demands of him because they are not even formally boyfriend and girlfriend.

-Jess, irritated, goes out drinking with Cece, and texts Artie (Taye Diggs), a sexy coffee shop owner who asked her out months ago.

-Artie seems suave, impressive, and mature--everything Nick is not. But once Jess invites him over to the loft, he reveals himself to be a sexually aggressive creep.

-None of the guys enjoy the night out at the strip club, and Coach eventually admits that--despite his bravado--he is actually miserable because his girlfriend left him.

-Coach tries to get the guys to fight his ex's new boyfriend--a cop--but after a brief confrontation with him, everyone heads back to the loft.

-At the loft, Jess and Nick make up and re-affirm their relationship, and Nick helps Jess remove an unwanted Artie from her bed by punching him.

New Girl Season 3 Episode 7 Quotes

Jess

Schmidt, you stole my toothpaste while I was using it. That's vindictive.
