-Regina preserved Daniel's body after he died with an enchanted spell and kept him under her mausoleum. Now his body has disappeared.

-Dr. Whale brought him back to life in the hopes that Regina would be grateful and send him back to his world but Daniel is a monster. He tears off Whale's arm and tries to kill Henry and Regina. She has no chase but to turn him to dust.

-Regina asks Archie for help to keep her from using magic so she can earn back Henry's love.

-Mulan, Aurora, Emma, and Snow return to the compound to find Cora has killed everyone but Hook appears as the only survivor.

-Emma threatens Hook with ogres and he admits that he's working with Cora to get back to Storybrooke. He offers to make the same deal with Emma and Snow. Bring him back to Storybrooke to get his revenge on Rumplestiltskin and he will help them any way he can. 

-In the Fairy Tale past, Regina is Rumplestiltskin's apprentice until he considers her too weak to perform magic when she won't kill a unicorn. Regina  says her only goal is to bring her fiance back from the dead.  Rumple says it can't be done.

-Jefferson tells Regina he knows a man who can do it and brings her to Dr. Whale. He needs an enchanted heart. Regina gives him one from Cora's collection in the vault.

-Whale claims the heart didn't work but he never actually tried. He stole the heart for his own experiment.  Regina returns to Rumplestiltskin with her heart broken and willing to do anything to gain power.
