-Henry, Emma, and Mr. Gold find that Mary Margaret has escaped from jail. Emma vows to find her before her arraignment the following morning.

-Emma almost hits Jefferson on the road. She gives him a ride home and he drugs her tea. Back at his home he holds both Emma and Mary Margaret hostage.

-He believes Emma holds the magic to create a magic hat which will send him back to the fairy tale world where he will be with his daughter.

-Emma tries to escape and Jefferson is about to shoot her when Mary Margaret breaks free and knocks him out of a third story window but all they can find on the ground is his hat.

-When Mary Margaret returns for her hearing the following morning, Regina is shocked. She and Mr. Gold are working together to take down Mary Margaret.

-In the fairy tale world, The Evil Queen tells an extremely poor Jefferson that if he uses his magic hat to get her into Wonderland, his daughter will want for nothing. He agrees.

-They enter wonderland, outwit the Queen of Hearts men and Regina rescues her father whom the Queen of Hearts was holding.

-Unfortunately, since the hat let two into Wonderland it will only let two out. Regina takes her father and leaves Jefferson behind, never to return to his daughter.
