In Storybrooke past, Regina asks Mr. Gold to help her adopt a child. He gets her Henry. She quickly realizes that the child's mother is the child of Snow White and Prince Charming who can break her curse. She considers sending Henry back to the agency but falls in love with him and keeps him anyway.

In Neverland, Emma gets the Lost Boys to tell them where to find Peter Pan, promising she'll take them all back to Storybrooke. She, Snow, and Regina head off to find him while the rest guard an unconscious Henry. 

The women are caught by a Tree that feeds off of their regrets where Pan tells them that he is Rumpelstiltskin's father. Unfortunately for Peter Pan, Regina has none. She walks out of the tree's grasp, rips Henry's heart out of his chest, takes back Pandora's box and they had back to find Henry

On the Jolly Roger, Regina casts a protection spell over a now awakened Henry's heart. Pan makes his way onto the ship and when he can't steal the heart, he swaps bodies with Henry. Rumpelstiltskin unknowingly puts Henry in Pandora's box instead of Pan.
