Emma and Elsa search through old files when they come across surveillance photos that Regina had taken of Emma when she first arrived in town. There is a photo of Emma and the Snow Queen at the ice cream shoppe but Emma has no memory of it.

Emma offers to help Regina break the curse on Marian but Regina scoffs at her offer and says she'll never forgive her for what she's done. Later, Emma explains that she had hoped she and Regina could be friends because there is no one else in her life who understands what it is like to be rejected and misunderstood.

Elsa fights her fear and conquers a snow monster but when Sidney betrays Regina for the Snow Queen, he gains his freedom but the Snow Queen gains the mirror. She seems to think it will help her win back the love of her family.
Later, Emma shows Hook an old video of her and a friend from when she was a teenager. As the footage continues, it cuts to a new group home she doesn't remember. The Snow Queen is seen in the background as the woman in charge. Watch Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 5 online here at TV Fanatic.
