Dr. Pierce learns that one of his student's cheated on a mid term paper. He discovers that he has a medical condition, but that he won't be able to play football anymore. He tries to help him find a new path.
Pierce also spends his time trying to solve a campus murder. After questioning an arrogant Prince, the popular ex-boyfriend, and even a love obsessed girl, Pierce and Kate discover that a student who had taken an enhancement drug to help her study was the murderer. The side affects to the drug was becoming irritated to loud noise, and after telling the girl to turn her music down and failing, she snapped and broke her neck.
Kate Moretti breaks up with her boyfriend.
