Reese and Finch track a journalist named Maxine who is on the hunt to uncover the mysterious boss of HR.

Simmons calls upon Fusco to find out a way to keep him from getting arrested as the FBI is cracking down on the corrupt cops.

Reese pretends to date Maxine in order to stay close, but prevent her from realizing he is the man in the suit, another story she is eager to tell.

After getting a tip, Maxine publishes an article exposing Chris Zambrano as the HR boss. Turns out he is really a witness with the ledger of who actually is.

Zoe Morgan comes to help Maxine and points her in the direction of politicians, Griffin and Walker.

Reese uncovers the ledger. Fusco removes his name and Simmons name before turning it in.

Walker's name is in the ledger and he is arrested as the boss of HR.

Finch believes the real boss is still out there.

Simmons meets with the real boss of HR.
