On this week's episode of Person of Interest…

The Machine comes up with a new number connected to Joey Durbin, a soldier just back from Afghanistan.

Reese learns that Durbin is connected to a group of former military members that commit robberies.

Durbin has also been giving money to one of his military friend's wife for her daughter's college.

Reese infiltrates the group and helps them on two robberies. The second one turns out to be a set up and their ringleader, Sam Latimer, attempts to kill the members of the group after they deliver the package from longterm evidence.

Reese and Durbin survive. Durbin leaves New York with his girlfriend.

Detective Carter continues to pursue Reese. She even talks to him telling him that she won't give up.

Latimer delivers the package, containing photos of a dead girl and the knife used to kill her, to a mystery person.

Reese goes to deal with Latimer's betrayal but finds him dead instead. He remembers that the evidence was connected to someone named Elias.

Meanwhile, a flashback reveals that in 2006, Reese ran into Jessica. Unfortunately, she was engaged, but she asked him to tell her to wait for him. Reese doesn't ask her until she was too far away to hear.
