The Machine comes up with a number for a school teacher named Charles Burton.

He appears to be a witness for a Russian Mob hit on a member of La Cosa Nostra.

Reese saves him and protects him from the Russians.

Fusco and Finch work together and learn that a member of the police is working for Elias.

Fusco and Detective Carter also believe that Elias wants Burton dead because he has sensitive information.

Before, Reese can hand off Burton to Fusco to testify what he saw, Burton reveals that he is Elias. Elias lets Reese live, has the Russian mob leader murdered, and declares ownership of Brighton Beach.
