Emily, Aria, and Spencer investigate the crawl space under Mrs. DiLareuntis' house, but Aria is nearly poked in the eye with a knitting needle when someone enters the house. Meanwhile, Hanna finds an envelope of cash in her locker with a note suggesting she use it to help her mother. She notices a strange boy following her around, and, at the school's country western dance, Hanna confronts him. The boy, Travis, tells her that he saw her mother taking to Wilden out at the lake, but that Ashley left before he heard gunshots. Hanna convinces him to confess and turn over the money (a possible bribe from A) to the police. Toby follows A's clues to Dr. Palmer's car, but it seems that A is trying to set him up.
