Alison and her family deal with the loss of Mrs. DiLaurentis, but Alison is also concerned with finding out who might still be after her. She confronts Ezra about what's missing from his book (possibly vital information about A), and Ezra claims that the information will be kept safe until Aria needs/asks for his help.

Aria does try to keep her distance from Ezra, but she ends up confessing that Shana is dead and she is responsible for her death.

Meanwhile, Spencer tries to find out who Mrs. Di was writing to the night she disappeared. Jason tells her to be wary of her father; Melissa and Mrs. Hastings don't help Spencer's suspicions when they make it clear that they are keeping something from her.
