Following Bizzy Montgomery's suicide last week, Addison returned to Connecticut to mourn the loss of her mother with brother Archer and the Captain.

Addison's co-workers hopped a plane east to support their friend in her time of grief, while Violet and Sheldon stayed in Los Angeles to treat a death row inmate and his wife who has been trying to stay his execution for the past 17 years.
