A little Private Practice spoiler from E! today ...
Q: Will Jay Harrington return to Private Practice?
A: On his short stint as an Addison Montgomery's (Kate Walsh) rival and love interest, Jay Harrington says his character "could come back." He'd also love to see another crossover (besides the sub-par Grey's Anatomy one) with Private Practice. "I think within the network it would be fun to see Taye Diggs' character on [Better Off Ted] or me on Ugly Betty," he adds.
Last night on Private Practice, Addison Montgomery returned to L.A. after another dramatic hour at Seattle Grace on Grey's Anatomy. And she wasted little time immersing herself in more ethically and emotionally taxing surgeries back in her home city.

After a dramatic hour of Grey's Anatomy, Addison returned to L.A. last night - to find that her brother, Archer, hasn't changed a bit, and deal with an incredibly difficult surgical call in the form of a baby born with both sex organs.
Elsewhere, Charlotte's tough-as-nails exterior is beginning to crumble, while Violet tries to convince Sheldon to accompany her to couples' therapy.

The worlds of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice collided in an epic, two-hour episode last night in which Addison, Naomi, Sam and Archer arrived at Seattle Grace, where their old friend Derek was charged with saving his life.
In addition to one of the most suspenseful surgery scenes in recent memory, we learned a lot about our favorite characters - both past and present - in this crossover event.
And it's far from over.
Due to the unique circumstances of the shows we love merging on the same night, we've recapped the events of Grey's and Private Practice together.

Addison (Kate Walsh) was back on her old turf last night.
The long-awaited Shonda Rhimes crossover event is now underway as Grey's Anatomy and its spinoff Private Practice teamed up last night for two great hours of TV.
While Derek worked wonders to save Addison's brother Archer from a brain parasite, Sam and Naomi reflected on how their tight-knit group became so dysfunctional.
Elsewhere, Alex started to worry that something's seriously wrong with Izzie, and Violet's concerns over a new mother's depression spark a host of worries of her own.
We've consolidated the episodes into one recap for your convenience, and because it's all Shondaland anyway. Follow the link for a full recap of "Before and After" ...

Q: Do you know when Josh Hopkins will be coming on Private Practice?
A: Yes, Addison's new love interest (you know, the guy from Swingtown) will be part of a major storyline in March for five episodes.
We look forward to seeing this character. In other guest star news, Taye Diggs' wife, Idina Menzel, will also be appearing on the show soon!
