Lauren Lassiter is in town to shadow her big brother Carlton for her graduate thesis film. She immediately finds herself in the middle of the murder of the polar bear trainer at the zoo, and finds herself reevaluating her faith in Carlton.

Carlton immediately pins the murder on the bear, but Shawn begs to differ, and spends the better part of the episode proving he’s right.

He eventually does so, and ends up restoring Lauren’s faith in her older brother in the process.
